Alexis E. Fajardo is a cartoonist best known for his middle-grade graphic novel series, Kid Beowulf – an action-adventure, mythological mash-up that follows the adventures of twin brothers Beowulf and Grendel. The newest book in the series The Tarpeian Rock recently won Silver in the 2021 IBPA Silver Benjamin Franklin Awards. Neat!
Lex also works as Editorial Director at the Charles M. Schulz Studio in Santa Rosa, California, where he has edited Peanuts comic books and storybooks, written exhibition material for the Charles M. Schulz Museum and Snoopy Museum Tokyo and won the 2018 Eisner Award as co-editor for the Best Archival Project, Celebrating Snoopy, published by Andrews McMeel.
