After careers as diverse as a stockbroker for a Wall Street firm, a member of an elite military unit and a special agent in law enforcement, Bill Abbott felt suitably prepared to become a professional cartoonist. This was not to be his last gross miscalculation. His work has been published in and hence devaluing such magazines as the Reader’s Digest, the Saturday Evening Post, The Wall Street Journal and Harvard Business Review, among other publications in the U.S. and abroad. Additionally, Spectickles is in syndication through Creators Syndicate, and has been licensed for a variety of products, everything from figurines ​to cocktail napkins and greeting ​cards.
