Dan Misdea is a cartoonist and illustrator from New Jersey.

After spending a number of years in finance, he sold his first cartoon to The New Yorker and hasn’t looked back. His work has also appeared in Air Mail, Narrative, Reader’s Digest, Weekly Humorist, The Funny Times and elsewhere.

He’s currently working on his first picture book, The Light Inside, to be released in 2023 with Penguin Workshop.
