Kendra Allenby is a cartoonist for the New Yorker and other magazines. Her favorite flavor of success is when her cartoons hang on the refrigerators of strangers. She has a background in anthropology and sketch comedy and draws cartoons for organizations like the Red Cross where she uses humor to make difficult topics approachable, to make complex ideas understandable, and to keep people awake. She drinks a lot of coffee and makes a lot of to-do lists. Whenever possible she takes hikes or bike rides that last for months and draws what she finds there.
