Stephanie Piro was born in Brooklyn, brought up on Long Island, and attended the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. She now resides in New Hampshire with her husband, John, and three cats, Spacey – and her two kittens – Conor Makem and Big Eric. In 1984, she began the Strip T’s Design Company through which she markets her award-winning T-shirt collection (including her popular cat line), and other products from aprons to place mats, plus her line of gift items for her Cafepress shop. She is delighted to be a part of King Features groundbreaking cartoon strip, Six Chix, which appears in over 125 newspapers across the USA and abroad. She is the Saturday Chick! And, her own daily cartoon panel, Fair Game, appears here, on the website and in daily and weekly newspapers around the country. Her work has also appeared in First for Women, Chronicle Of Higher Education, Glamour Magazine, Ms., Bitch Magazine, the Funny Times, Hysteria, and the Women’s Glibber line of women’s humor anthologies. Three collections of her work have been published, the new “My Cat Loves Me Naked” by Sourcebooks (available here) and Men! Ha! and Caffeinated Cartoons by Laugh Lines Press.
