Lincoln Peirce is a cartoonist and writer from Portland, Maine. His comic strip, Big Nate, was syndicated in 1991 and currently appears in over 400 newspapers worldwide. He is also the author and illustrator of a series of New York Times Bestselling novels based on his comic strip. His Max & the Midknights trilogy, completed in 2022, is a comedic adventure story set in the Middle Ages. Big Nate and Max & the Midknights are animated series produced by Nickelodeon. Lincoln lives with his wife Jessica, an artist. They have two children.
