Don Peoples is a visual communicator based in Akron, Ohio. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Akron. Peoples is a graphic designer at the Akron-Summit County Public Library. He invented the “Paws,” the Library’s lion cub mascot. His work has appeared in numerous exhibitions and publications. Don Peoples is the creator of Peoples Greetings: custom caricature greeting cards and humorous postcards featuring Penguin, Polar Bear, Porcupine, and Peoples himself—a motley crew known as “The Postcard Pals.”
