I signed my first syndicate contract at age 21. My comic strip Drabble made its debut in newspapers on March 5, 1979. I've written and drawn about 17,000 strips since then. I've never missed drawing a Sunday strip, over 2,400 Sundays in a row (at this writing). I've been lucky to have only missed drawing 2 weeks of daily strips in almost 46 years. Yes, I love drawing comic strips! Drabble revolves around Ralph, Honeybunch, kids Norman, Patrick and Penny. The family pets are Wally the Wiener Dog, Oogie the cat, and Bob the Duck.
