I am the co-author and illustrator of Hermie the HR Hermit Crab books and online comics. Hermie, a quirky HR manager, leads readers through the ups and downs of organizational change, development, and culture. With a colorful cast of characters like the demanding Boss Betta, the aloof Kat, and the overextended PM Chihuahua, this cartoon offers a lighthearted yet profound take on the challenges of leadership, communication, and employee engagement. As an Organizational Development Consultant and an Operator on the PI with a penchant for Individualization and Restoration, according to Gallup, I strive to provide the greatest benefit to an organization by problem-solving, offering support, and providing training and development, always guided by primary data. My MS in I-O Psychology and additional training in OD and Change Management equip me with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to help teams perform their best, particularly within operations, HR, and MarCom teams.
