Drawing a cartoon is like putting together a daily puzzle for me. It's great fun! Recently I started working with Creators Syndicate in January of 2025 and have done a cartoon almost every day. Before that I worked with The Montclair Times and The Glen Ridge Voice since 2008 and my cartoons were used in multiple Gannett publications. I got my start with the New Orleans' Times Picayune in 1980 and worked there in the advertising sales department until 2001 when I moved to NYC. While there I witnessed the World Trade Center tragedy first hand. Prior to working at the Picayune I attended Louisiana State University where I was the cartoonist for the Reveille newspaper. While at Brother Martin High School in New Orleans, I was the cartoonist for the newspaper as well as the yearbook. I've received many state awards that I keep in a box in my closet. I'm grateful to receive them but not necessary to display them. I'm only as good as my next cartoon! Cartooning has always been in my blood and to be a part of a community of my art board heroes would be a thrill to me!
